These terms govern your use of bergerprivatechef.com and the booking of private dining experiences and cooking workshops with Berger Private Chef in Costa Rica. By submitting a booking request or accepting a quote, you agree to these terms.
Our Services
We provide private chef services, including in-home dining experiences and cooking workshops, at locations across Costa Rica. Menus, availability, and pricing are described on this website and confirmed individually in each quote.
Bookings & Quotes
Submitting a booking request does not create a confirmed reservation. After reviewing your request, we will send you a personalized quote. A booking is confirmed only once you accept the quote and complete any deposit specified in it. Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote.
Pricing & Payment
Prices are quoted per person unless stated otherwise, and may include add-ons and a transport surcharge depending on your location. The applicable deposit, remaining balance, and accepted payment methods are specified in your quote.
Cancellations & Changes
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Any cancellation or rescheduling conditions, including whether a deposit is refundable, are stated in your quote. We will always try to find a reasonable solution, especially for circumstances beyond your control.
Allergies & Dietary Requirements
You are responsible for informing us of all allergies and dietary restrictions for you and your guests when booking. We take allergies seriously and apply careful preparation practices, but we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment, since we work in private kitchens that we do not control.
Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate booking information, access to the venue at the agreed time, and the kitchen facilities agreed upon when confirming your booking. If conditions at the venue differ materially from what was agreed, we may need to adjust the service.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the affected booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
